Upload a recording to view and replay your drive
The BMW Drive Recorder is a factory-integrated dashcam system available on vehicles running iDrive Operating System 7. It captures synchronized footage from four cameras — front, rear, and both sides — along with GPS and speed telemetry, all written into a single video file and telemetry metadata file on a USB drive.
This tool takes that raw export directly off the USB stick and gives you a proper viewer: the four camera feeds split into their own quadrants, your route traced on a map, and your speed overlaid in real time as the footage plays back. Upload the .ts video file and the accompanying .json telemetry file from your drive, and everything is processed and stored in the cloud so you can replay or share it any time.
